To be Optimus Prime or to be Bumble Bee.. That is the Question.
I am going to be so busy this weekend I don't know where to start. Tommorow night is the Halloween party at church. The biggest question and task tommorow will be will Mason want to be Optimus Prime or Bumblebee? I sure it will be a knock down drag out fight but that is my boy and the Travis coming out in him as I like to call it. Then Saturday is his Birthday party. I can't believe he is going to be three! It literally seems like just last week I was bringing him home, and going thru 30 diapers in one night ha ha the joys of being a parent for the first time. My mother-in -law will not let me live that one down. We are suppose to rent a bouncer for all the kids and I have a ton of decorations goody bags which I have to make tonight. I am telling you I don't know what I would do without Travis's and my parents. There would have been no way for us to have pulled this off finacially. Speaking of that I prayed my heart out for months not to let Travis's job lay him off. I was so worried. The Lord really answered that prayer and is even given him some over time for Thankgiving and Christmas which believe me I would rather him be home with us but at the same time we really are going to need the money! Well, I am going to get off of here and tend to these children.

What A Weekend!
Ok, took me awhile to post and get back into the swing of things. This past weekend we went down to Chattanooga to see my sister in law, brother in law, and nephews. They are growing up so fast! The youngest is so hilarious. He says the funniest things! The reason it is so funny is because he is NOT trying to be funny. He is being as serious as a heart attack when he tells you something. Seriously I have to try so hard sometimes not to laugh in front of him, he thinks if you laugh you are laughing at him, but at any rate I will make a list of the funniest things that popped out of his mouth while we were there.
1. Me: ''I love going to church don't you?'' Garrett: ''Aunt Amber you must not get out much.''
2. Garrett : ''My dad hit a siamese cat, I imagined it was Aspen.'' (This was funny b/c he said it just out of the blue. My cat's name is Aspen and everytime Garrett comes over he tries to get her to have something to do with him but she refuses and hisses and smacks at him so there you go.)
3. Reta: '' Yea I think Greyson is finally starting to grow into his looks.'' At which Garrett starting laughing Garrett: ''HA HA, I can't wait to tell him that." ( This was so funny b/c Reta threw in the finally she knew Garrett would love it and take it and run with it.
All in all it was a wonderful trip! We went down there to to go West Cove church, it is beautiful inside and out. I had a great time! Really got to feel the Lord while I was there and lay hands, it was a wonderful feeling!!
We got back Sunday night in time for church, it was a short service, one of our members got into a terrible car accident, flipped his vehicle several times. Luckily he is doing better and will be ok his leg, ankle, and foot are in pretty bad shape, but if you would have seen in the truck you would be amazed he walked away alive! So blessed I am sure he will have a beautiful testimony to tell when he makes it back to church, so many prayers answered!

Countdown is on!
Less than 3 weeks and I will be officially going back to work. Not that I am not ready, believe me I am. At the same time it is going to be hard to get back on schedule, and leave my baby. :( I know he will be in good hands though. I am planning on him staying with my mother-in-law 3 days, and then going with some of his friends to a mothers Day Out for the other 2 days. Travis has two job offers that seem to be promising, and my prayers are being answered. I just hope they pan out and he gets to do something like myself that he will truly loves! A promise of extra money doesn't sound to bad either, but I had rather him make less money and love it, then more money and loathe it. I am just so thankful he and I have had jobs for the past year ,that in itself is a blessing. I know he is capable of doing whatever he sets his mind to I just wish he would believe that himself sometimes. I hope next summer to start some classes and go back to school, I think I finally have my mind set on what I want to do with the credits I have accumulated so far. No need to waste more money or more of my time with changing my mind. I definently need to put them to use! Do your best and he will do the rest!!!

Busy Busy

Oh my goodness, I feel like I have been going nonstop for 2 weeks straight. My Father-in-Law has been in the hospital for almost two weeks in a regular room, CCU room, and then back to a regular room. Thank the Lord he is getting better!! So many prayers answered this week. I did get in some family time with my husband yesterday. There was not any work at his shop, so he came home, we went to the hospital, went to Cracker Barrel to eat, French's Boot Store so he could get some work boots, he really needed. We also got to watch a movie together which we haven't got to do in over a month. Good quality time. He has been so jealous lately with me having to split my time. Sometimes I seem to forget that he deserves atleast some of my attention. Men are just big kids right? Well enough for now I have got to get back up to the hospital.
